revision 003
The planets that a species was born on. In certain rare exceptions, it may be the first location they were able to claim as their own rather than being controlled or inhabited by another species (such as Hakuna). They are almost always the centre of their trade, seat of parliament, and greatest military crucible. A homeworld may have multiple species upon it or none as they are all extinct or emigrated. It may also be a world that was host to its own entirely separate sovereign government (such as Elluvia).

Core worlds are always worlds within a particular civilisation's home solar system. There may be no more than the homeworld or a dozen planets. These are typically the first planets colonised when a species becomes spacefaring and thus are the most developed in their respective civilisations next to the homeworld itself. A species can favour one Core World over another for various reasons and have each with their own purpose, therefore no Core World is required to be equal. The only thing that disqualifies a planet from Core status is if it is not governed by that particular civilisation's parliament and instead is sovereign.

All Space Stations are physically independent from a celestial body and contain a permanent population of at least 1,000 people. Sub-categories of Space Stations are Orbital Stations which must orbit a planet, and Outposts, which cannot exceed a permanent population of 100. Space Stations may be player created.
Orbital Station Mars A-11
Orbital Station Imperial Master Hub
Orbital Station Terra A-01
Space Station XMB430
Outpost B/DP-400CX
Anything that does not fit neatly into the other categories, such as derelict starships, safehouses inside of asteroids, and anything similar to that. These may be player created.
All locations within a planet or planetoid. Locations may be player made.
